Voxelrun

Your server starts when someone joins and stops when everyone leaves. You pay for the hours in between, and the first 10 GB of storage are free.

Servers run on our own AMD Ryzen 9 bare metal in the EU.

Features

Built for the way friends actually play together.

Not a control panel from 2010. Not a wrapper around a CLI. A real product designed by people who play.

Features

Everything you need. Nothing you don't.

True pay-as-you-go billing

Per-minute metering. Stopped means €0 of compute, every time — and a monthly cap means even running nonstop never costs more than a flat-rate host.

No queue, no provisioning

There's nothing to spin up — the server image already sits on the machine's NVMe. Most worlds are joinable in about half a minute, whatever size you pick. A big modpack's first launch takes longer while it installs itself.

Free backups, 30-day retention

One-click world exports kept for 30 days. We also snapshot if your balance hits zero, so your world is never lost. Download the zip and take it anywhere.

Web file manager

Edit configs, drop in mods and plugins, browse logs. No SFTP gymnastics.

Live console + RCON

Real-time log streaming with command history. Send anything from /op to /reload.

Wallet alerts

Email — or a Discord ping, if you connect a webhook — before your balance runs low, so your friends never get kicked mid-raid.

Plugin & modpack ready

Vanilla, Paper, Spigot, Fabric, Forge — all supported by the standard itzg/minecraft-server image.

Share with friends

Invite friends by email and pick exactly what each of them can do — start/stop only, console, files, backups, or full access. Or drop a wake link in your group chat: one button that starts the server, no account needed. Billing and deleting stay yours.

Starts when someone joins

Flip on wake-on-join and a stopped server keeps its address, stays visible in the server list, and tells players that joining will wake it. When a friend connects, the server boots and billing resumes. Idle auto-stop puts it back to sleep once everyone leaves. It's off by default, and with a whitelist only your own players can wake it.

Bring your world from any host

Moving in? Enter the SFTP or FTP login from your old host and we pull the world, mods, and configs for you. Up to 10 GB with live progress, the software and version are detected automatically, and the create form comes pre-filled. Coming from Aternos, a guided export gets you the same result.

Automatic backups & scheduled restarts

Schedule daily or weekly backups, restarts, or console commands, each in its own timezone. Scheduled backups run while the server stays up and playable. Every server includes 7 backup slots and 70 GB of backup storage for free, and you can pin the backups that must never rotate away.

Install mods & plugins in the panel

Search Modrinth and CurseForge without leaving the dashboard. Results are filtered to your Minecraft version and loader, one click installs into mods/ or plugins/, and update badges appear when a new version lands. Even jars you uploaded by hand are recognized and tracked.

Bedrock friends join your Java server

One switch installs Geyser and opens the port, and friends on phones, consoles, and Windows can join while your server stays a normal Java server with all its mods. Works on Paper, Spigot, Fabric, and NeoForge; on some setups Bedrock players link a free Java account first.

Switch versions without fear

Change the Minecraft version or server software through a guided picker fed by the official version lists, including Paper, Fabric, Forge, and NeoForge builds. A backup runs first and the switch only applies after it succeeds. Downgrades ask for explicit confirmation.

Split the bill with your friends

Every server can have a shared credit pool that members top up from their own wallets. Billing drains the pool before it touches the owner's wallet, so the whole group funds the server and a friend can cover a start when the owner is short.

Your world map on a real https:// link

Running Dynmap or BlueMap? Expose it in one click and get https://map-yourname.voxel.run with a proper certificate. No port number, no browser warning, and it goes live within seconds on a running server. Share it with anyone.

Crashed? Ask the AI what happened

When a server won't stay up, one click reads the crash logs and tells you in plain language what broke — the mod, the plugin, the setting — and how to fix it from the panel. It's a second opinion, not an auto-fix: it points you at the culprit and the steps, you stay in control. Free, and if you'd rather use your own AI, one button copies a ready-made prompt with your logs.

A live console you'd actually use

Streamed via SignalR over an authenticated WebSocket. Command history. Auto-scroll lock. Search across the buffer. RCON passthrough so you can /op a friend without SSH.

File management without SFTP

Browse, rename, edit, upload, download — same tree the server reads from. Drop a plugin into /plugins and reload. Edit server.properties in your browser. No keys to manage.

Backups that don't cost extra

One-click world exports to Hetzner Object Storage. Spin up a new server from any zip in one click, or download it and take your world anywhere. 30-day retention. Free.

Share the server, keep the keys

Send a friend a magic-link invite by email and choose exactly what they can do — from start/stop only up to full access: console commands, file management, backups, plugin ports. Billing, deleting the server, and managing members always stay yours, and a History page shows who did what. Your wallet pays for runtime no matter who hits Start, so a friend can wake the server up before you arrive without spending their own credits. Change or revoke their access in one click whenever you want.

A wake link for your group chat

Generate a link, pin it in Discord, and anyone holding it can start the server with one button — no account, no login. They see the server's name and live status, nothing else. Your wallet pays as usual, every other control stays yours, and you can revoke or rotate the link any time.

A wallet, not a subscription

Top up any amount through Paddle, our Merchant of Record. Spend it on any server, any size, anytime. Run multiple servers in parallel. Email or Discord warnings arrive before the wallet runs low — and a monthly cap on compute means even a server that never sleeps can't cost more than a flat-rate host.

Warnings before anything stops

When your balance is running low, we email you about two days before it matters. Connect a Discord webhook and we ping that too, with a test button so you know it works. Your servers never go offline as a surprise.

Your account, properly locked

Two-factor authentication with any authenticator app, single-use recovery codes, and a sessions page that shows every signed-in device and lets you revoke them. Disabling 2FA always requires the password again, so a stolen browser session can't weaken the account.

Your RAM is guaranteed, not shared

Servers run on an AMD Ryzen 9 9950X we own, with NVMe storage under a hard per-server quota. The RAM you pick is a container limit nothing else on the machine can take, and CPU weight scales with it.

Pick your flavour

Whatever Minecraft you play.

Switch server type with one click. We pull the right image for you.

Paper

Highly optimized fork of Spigot. Plugin-compatible, drop-in faster.
