Terms of Service
Last updated: 2026-08-11
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the VoxelRun service operated by Martin Regec, a Czech sole trader using the VoxelRun trade name ("VoxelRun", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. The Service
VoxelRun provides on-demand hosting of Minecraft game servers on dedicated server hardware operated by us in data centers within the European Union. Server backups are stored with a third-party EU object-storage provider. The Service is metered and billed while a server is running, with persistent storage billed separately.
2. Accounts
You must register an account with a valid email address. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account. You must be at least the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction (16 in the EU unless otherwise specified).
3. Credits and billing
The Service runs on a prepaid credit model. Credits are sold by Paddle.com Market Ltd, which acts as our Merchant of Record and is the seller of record for every purchase. You buy credits through Paddle's secure hosted checkout; we credit your wallet only after Paddle confirms the payment. Credits are deducted at an hourly rate proportional to the RAM allocated to the server, calculated in 60-second increments while the server is running. Stopped servers do not consume runtime credits, but stopping a server does not stop charges for persistent storage. Credits do not expire. We do not auto-renew or auto-charge unless you explicitly enable the optional auto top-up feature (see section 17).
A minimum credit balance is required to create or start a server. If your balance is below the current required minimum, currently 10 credits, you will not be able to create or start a server. This requirement exists to ensure service stability and prevent abuse. The minimum required balance may be updated at any time and will be communicated via the pricing page or the service interface.
If your credit balance reaches zero or is insufficient to cover the next 60-second billing interval, your server may be automatically stopped without prior notice, and continued non-payment leads to the server being archived as described in section 4. You will not be able to restart the server until sufficient credit is added.
Compute charges for each server are capped per calendar month in proportion to its allocated RAM, currently 2500 credits per GB of RAM per month; once the cap is reached, further runtime in that month is not charged. Storage and backup storage charges are never capped. If a refund or chargeback reverses credits you have already spent, your wallet balance may become negative; usage that your balance could not cover is written off to zero, but negative balances arising from refunds or chargebacks are not.
New accounts may receive a one-time welcome bonus, currently 1000 credits, granted after successful phone-number verification and at most once per phone number, ever. Verification is optional: you can use the Service without it, but the bonus is withheld. Free or promotional credits, including the welcome and referral bonuses, may be limited, withheld, removed, or reversed if we suspect abuse, fraud, duplicate account creation, or use that violates these Terms or the Acceptable Use Policy.
4. Storage and data retention
Each server includes a free storage allowance, currently the first 10 GB of its disk size. Disk space above the included allowance is billed continuously, currently 100 credits per GB per month, whether the server is running or stopped. Storage rates may change; changes apply only from the moment they take effect and are never applied retroactively to time already billed.
If your balance reaches zero, stopped servers enter a grace period, currently 7 days. If the balance is still zero when the grace period ends — or immediately, if the server is running — the server is archived: a final archive backup is taken, the world data is removed from the server host, and storage billing for the server stops. The server's name, configuration, members and backups are preserved, and you can restore it with one click once your account has sufficient credit again. Servers that remain continuously stopped for a longer period, currently 30 days, are archived the same way; we send email warnings before an inactivity archive happens.
The archive backup of an archived server is kept until you restore or delete the server. If you delete a server or your account, data is permanently deleted as described in sections 8 and 12, after a retention window of up to 30 days during which you may export your data where technically possible.
5. Taxes
Prices include VAT where applicable. Purchases are processed by Paddle.com, our Merchant of Record, which collects and remits applicable taxes. The amount shown at checkout is the total you pay, and Paddle issues a tax invoice for every purchase.
6. Refunds and cancellation
Refunds are available only for unused credit balances and should be requested within 14 days of the original payment date, as described in our Refund and Cancellation Policy; your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected. If part of the purchased credits has been used, only the remaining unused portion is eligible for refund. Consumed credits for compute time, storage, or any delivered services are non-refundable. Where possible, refunds will be issued to the original payment method. Refunds are executed by Paddle.com, our Merchant of Record; approval of a refund is processed by Paddle and, once approved, it may take several business days to reach you, depending on Paddle and your bank. Non-refundable third-party fees, such as payment processing fees, may be deducted where permitted by law. We reserve the right to refuse or limit refunds in cases of suspected abuse, fraud, or repeated refund requests. There is no subscription to cancel; stop your server and runtime billing stops with it. Refund requests can be sent to [email protected].
If you initiate a chargeback or payment dispute with your bank instead of contacting us first, the corresponding credits will be reversed from your wallet, which may take the balance negative, and your account may be suspended until the dispute is resolved. Credits that were already transferred to a server credit pool (see section 19) may be reclaimed from that pool.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service in violation of our Acceptable Use Policy, applicable law, or third-party rights. You must not abuse system resources, attempt to overload infrastructure, or use the Service for unauthorized automated workloads. Cryptocurrency mining, excessive resource abuse, or activities that negatively impact other users or infrastructure are prohibited. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach the AUP without prior notice when continued operation would cause harm to third parties or the network.
8. Your data
You own your worlds, configurations, and uploaded content. We process this content only to provide the Service. You may export your data at any time where technically possible.
Each server includes a free backup allowance, currently 7 backups and 70 GB of backup storage. Backup storage above the included allowance is billed, currently 50 credits per GB per month, regardless of whether the server is running. When a new backup would exceed the backup slot allowance, the oldest unpinned backup is deleted automatically. You may pin backups to exclude them from automatic deletion; pinned backups are kept until you unpin or delete them, while unpinned backups expire after the standard retention period, currently 30 days. If your balance remains at zero while backup storage charges are accruing, we may — after a warning email and a grace period, currently 7 days — delete your oldest backups down to the free allowance, removing unpinned backups first and pinned backups only when nothing else remains.
You are responsible for maintaining your own backups of important data. Any backups provided by VoxelRun are offered without guarantees of completeness or recoverability. To the maximum extent permitted by law, VoxelRun is not liable for data loss, including data loss caused by non-payment, service suspension, or technical failures.
9. Availability
We aim to keep the Service reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. Scheduled maintenance, upstream provider incidents, and network abuse mitigation may cause downtime. We do not offer credits for downtime unless explicitly stated in a separate Service Level Agreement.
10. Intellectual property
Software, branding and documentation provided by VoxelRun are owned by Martin Regec or its licensors. Minecraft is a trademark of Mojang Studios; VoxelRun is not affiliated with or endorsed by Mojang or Microsoft.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability for any claim arising from the Service is limited to the amount you paid us during the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, including loss of game progress.
12. Termination
Either party may terminate the relationship at any time. After suspension or termination, user data is retained under the same retention policy described in Storage and data retention: up to 30 days to allow export where technically possible. After this period, data may be permanently deleted, and availability or preservation of the data is not guaranteed.
Deleting your account permanently deletes all servers you own, forfeits any remaining credit balance in your wallet — credits have no cash value and are not paid out — and forfeits any balances in server credit pools you own or have contributed to (see section 19). Billing and referral records are retained after account deletion to the extent required for accounting, tax and fraud-prevention purposes, as described in our Privacy Policy.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Czech Republic. Disputes will be resolved by the competent courts of the Czech Republic, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection rules in your country of residence.
14. Changes
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced by email at least 14 days in advance and posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
15. Contact
Questions about these Terms: [email protected]. Postal address: Martin Regec, Nové sady 988/2, Staré Brno, 602 00 Brno, Czech Republic.
16. Referral program
VoxelRun offers a referral program through which a registered user (the "Referrer") may share a personal referral link inviting others to create an account. When a person signed up through that link (the "Referred User") completes their first paid top-up, processed by Paddle, both the Referrer and the Referred User receive a credit bonus to their wallet, currently 2000 credits per side. The bonus is granted only once per Referred User and only on the first paid top-up; no minimum top-up amount is required.
Referral credits are subject to the same rules as all credits on VoxelRun: they have no cash value, do not expire, are non-transferable, and are spent in the same order as your other credits.
We may withhold, revoke, or reverse referral credits where we detect or reasonably suspect self-referral, creation of duplicate accounts to claim bonuses, automated or scripted signups, fraudulent payment activity, or any other abuse of the program. The referral bonus amount, eligibility rules, and the program itself may be changed or discontinued at any time; existing wallet balances are not affected by such changes.
17. Auto top-up
Auto top-up is an optional, opt-in feature that automatically purchases a credit package you selected whenever your wallet balance falls below a threshold you set. To enable it, you save a payment method through Paddle's secure hosted checkout and explicitly authorize recurring charges to that payment method for the selected package when the threshold is crossed. No money is taken when you enrol. The package price shown at the time of enabling is the amount charged; each charge produces a tax invoice issued by Paddle, and you receive an email confirmation for every automatic purchase.
You can change the threshold and package, or cancel auto top-up entirely, at any time in your wallet — cancelling also removes the saved payment method. Safety limits apply: automatic charges are spaced at least 60 minutes apart, capped at three attempts per 24-hour period, and auto top-up switches itself off after three consecutive failed charges. If a charge requires additional bank verification (e.g. 3-D Secure), the purchase completes only after you finish the verification; nothing is charged until then.
Automatic charges follow the same rules as manual top-ups, including tax invoicing by Paddle as our Merchant of Record and the refund policy in section 6.
19. Server credit pools
Each server can have a shared credit pool that its members may fund from their personal wallets to help cover that server's costs. Charges are drawn from the pool first and from the owner's wallet only for the remainder.
Contributions to a pool are final and non-refundable: contributed credits cannot be withdrawn or transferred back, and a member who leaves the server receives nothing back. If the server is deleted, any remaining pool balance is credited to the server owner's wallet. If you delete your account, pool balances of servers you own and contributions you have made to other servers are forfeited. Contributing to a pool requires that your account has completed at least one paid top-up. The pool balance and recent contributions are visible to every member of the server.
20. AI crash diagnostics
The optional AI crash-diagnostics feature analyses a server's recent logs and returns a plain-language summary and suggested fixes. It is automated and best-effort: the analysis is a second opinion, not a replacement for your own judgement, and it may be incomplete or wrong. Always verify a suggestion before acting on it, especially before deleting files, restoring backups, or changing configuration. When you run a diagnosis, the relevant log excerpt is sent to a third-party AI provider (see our Privacy Policy) for analysis. The feature is provided without warranty of any kind, is offered free of charge, and may be rate-limited, changed, or withdrawn at any time.
